BTCCSquare news:

Walmart shares dipped nearly 1% following a recall of iFIT NordicTrack rowing machines due to fire hazards. The $1,700 fitness equipment has been linked to eight incidents, including two fires and six reports of smoking or melting, causing at least $6,000 in property damage. Consumers are advised to immediately unplug the machines and contact manufacturer iFIT for free repairs.

The recall comes just one day after Walmart pulled unstable dressers from shelves under a separate Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) warning. The dressers, sold by Hong Lu under the AOWOS brand, violated tip-over prevention standards under the STURDY Act.
